The main thing we recommend when choosing one of these locks is to keep the shackle as short as will reach through the coupler. This gives a thief less to grab with cutters, etc. Trimax locks come in three lengths, the SXTC1 is 7/8", the SXTC2 is 2-1/2" and the SXTC3 is 3-1/2" long. The Trimax TC2 has a 2-1/2" span and will fit 2" Bulldog® couplers. The TC2 sometimes fits the 2-5/16" Bulldog®, but some need the longer Trimax TC3 with it's 3-1/2" span.
