Warranty Information
Most products sold by Heartland Lock are warrantied by the manufacturer to the original purchaser against failure due to defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from that date of purchase. This policy may vary with different manufacturers.

Shipping & Handling
At this time, we offer shipping only to destinations in the United States. Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. Many orders ship the day they are received.
Our shopping cart calculates weights and the number of boxes required for your order and uses this data in calculating shipping costs.
We reserve the right to refuse any order submitted with a credit card issued by a bank outside the United States.
Please inspect your packages upon arrival and report any damage or shipping related breakage immediately to the carrier. The carrier delivering your package is responsible for handling any damage claims.
Returns
We will gladly accept returns of most new, unopened items sold by Heartland Lock subject to the requirements stated below.
A Return Authorization Number (RAN) is REQUIRED before any returns will be accepted.
Returns received without an authorization number will be refused or held until you make shipping arrangements to have them returned to you
The following policies apply to all returns:
- Requests for returns must be received within five (5) business days of receipt of your order to qualify for a full refund. Returns requested after five (5) business days or arriving at our warehouse more than 10 days from the issuance of the RAN are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Merchandise being returned must be in NEW, UNUSED condition and must be in ORIGINAL, UNDAMAGED packaging to be eligible for maximum refund. In other words, returned merchandise must be in such condition as to be sold again as new.
- Merchandise which is in new condition, but which is in damaged packaging or which has missing packaging, will be refunded at 50% of the purchase price.
- Merchandise which has any sign of wear, which has missing pieces, or which cannot be resold as "unused" will be refunded at up to 50% of the purchase price.
- If you return any items from an order that received free shipping, the original shipping savings associated with the returned item(s) will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return was due to our error.
- If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account for use on a future purchase. Please note that the original expiration date will still apply.
- If you return an order that was placed using a promotional certificate or discount, you will not be refunded for the amount of the promotional offer, as these discounts were deducted from the original purchase amount.
- Return freight is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged returns, therefore we urge you to insure all return packages for the value of the product. Finally, the merchandise must arrive at our facility with 10 business days after receiving your RAN for refund of the full purchase price.

After evaluating your return request, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) if the return meets our return criteria.
Refunds will be made within 4 weeks of our receiving the merchandise at our warehouse and, whenever possible, will be made in a manner similar to the original method of payment.
