Advanced locking mechanism resists picking and prying.

Keyed different model is the new style featuring gray powder coated steel and a plastic cover (see picture at left).

Keyed-alike model is the old style with a gray powder coat finish (see picture below left).

Keyed different model IS NOT rekeyable, Keyed-alike model IS rekeyable.

Each lock comes with 2 keys.

Master Lock as always been confusing with the 379. First, the KA and KD versions had the same body style, but different coatings, and now they have replaced the KD version with a totally new style, but kept the old style for the KA version. In any case, the Master 379 in either version is still a great economical little universal coupler lock.
