The Master 8287 Truck Bed U-Lock is one of the most exciting new products I have seen lately. Combined with a cable, you now have the ability to secure many of those items laying around in the bed of your pickup. The 8287 can be mounted on most pickups, either using the stake pockets, or the tie-downs inside the bed (see the pictures below).
