The Collar^® was invented by a construction contractor that couldn't find a lock for his Bulldog^® trailer coupler that would keep his trailer from being stolen off his truck. The Collar^® was also designed to take a lot of abuse. Fits 2" Bulldog^® couplers well, but on 2-5/16" couplers there is sometimes a fit issue caused by the weld on the bottom of the coupler. Most of the time, tipping The Collar^® slightly to the side corrects the problem, but sometimes smoothing the weld with a grinder is required.
